Is there a typo mistake on Huges Hoppe paper?

I would like to have it in my records if there is a typo mistake in Huges Hoppe paper on surface reconstruction paper.

Page 4. What my Maths tell me the projection z should be

z <- p - ,,,,

and not

z <- oi - ...

Please verify me this observation. Maybe I have understood sth wrong.

Yes its a typo mistake its in Dr. Hoppe thesis errata.
